Shane M. Boasberg

Shane M. Boasberg is an Austin-based attorney with experience practicing law all over the state of Texas. Shane is currently focusing his legal expertise on insurance, personal injury law, and real estate law. Raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Shane moved to the Lone Star State as an undergrad to attend the prestigious University of Texas at Austin. After receiving his bachelors from UT in 1999, he chose to stay in Texas for law school. While attending South Texas Law School in Houston, TX, Shane worked as a clerk for The Law Office of Gallagher, Lewis, Downey, and Kim.  During this time, he gained extensive experience in legal and appellate research and writing and trial preparation working one of the largest personal injury settlements in United States history.

Shane graduated from South Texas Law School in 2002, and has been providing Texans with legal counsel ever since. He began his legal career at the prestigious form of Heard, Robins, Cloud, Lubel, and Greenwood LLP, a prestigious Houston based law firm that specializes in personal injury, wrongful death, and commercial litigation.

The skills Shane acquired working as an attorney for Heard, Robins, Cloud, Lubel, and Greenwood LLP garnered him a position with the Texas Senate as the General Counsel to Senator Mario Gallegos.  Following his time working for Senator Mario Gallegos, he was employed by Attorney General Greg Abbott in the Transportation Division of the Office of the Texas Attorney General’s Office where he sharpened his trial and advocacy skills.

Shane now has his own law firm, located in historic downtown Austin, Texas as well as a satellite office in Houston, TX.  The Law Office of Shane M. Boasberg offers extensive legal services for a variety of legal matters including but not limited to personal injury, bad-faith, and commercial litigation.
